Trip Postponed

March 6, 2008

Sigh… big big sigh…….

Our trip to Hong Kong Disneyland initially scheduled for 21st – 24th March has been shelved (in hubs’ words ‘postponed’). All the hotels, flight, bookings and reservations, has to be cancelled because hubs has a deal launching the same week (last minute decision by client).

Liu kan yiu or wan sek kan yiu‘ (Canto: Which is more important; holiday or work?). The answer is obvious.

Arghhh…..

I have to apologise to her though.. if not because I tempted her she probably will not go.. now she has to go along without us. Hope she will have loads and loads of fun and loots from the trip.

Ah dun worry – there will be plenty of chances to go although if you want to do it around this time, it better be before end of April or after September. You dun want to mess around with the typhoon during this period *lol*. Based on my experience, HK’s weather is at its best in November – sunny skies with warm balmy temperatures. I’m actually planning to take Jeremy and my in-laws this October. We plan to take the 3 day 2 night Disneyland package offered by Harpers Travel combined with a couple more free and easy days. Although under the package, we will be staying at the Disneyland Resort, I haven’t figured out where to stay for the extra days. Which accommodation did you guys initially booked? Ss it on HK Island or Kowloon ( I heard kowloon hotels are not that great but I could be wrong) Also, I need tips from you when you go on this trip – how are you planning Ryan’s nap and what’re you feeding him during this trip? I haven’t figure this out. Appreciate your advice on this *g*

For my Oz vacation trip in May, I’m booking a service apartment (which has just about everything right down to pots and pans and cutlery) so all I need to do is run down to the nearest grocery store to purchase fresh vegies and fish to make his porridge.
