Will definitely make up a good gift this season but erm.. just too ex… EUR148 for a 1GB drive. Mmm… nice to see, nice to hold, but not when you see the price it witholds. Ceh….

Christmas Celebration….

We didn’t really celebrate Christmas this year, not that we did in previous years though. Nonetheless, we did buy pressies for our lil one, nephew and niece inconjunction with the Xmas party held at cuz’ place.

"NO" to Shopping

I had my worst gastric attack last night. We were at Mid Valley for dinner when the pain really got up my head. I can barely walk, I can’t talk, I can’t eat (not even my fav salted egg prawns), I can’t do anything without curling myself up for the pain was just too much to bear. So when hubs asked if I still wanna go check out the Gardens, unwillimgly I said NO. Sobss… Imagine, I even went shopping when I was suffering from labour contractions (every 20 mins then). The only other time I said no to shopping was probably during my 1st trimester when I was suffering from severe morning sickness. So one could imagine how chronic the pain was………….sigh.

We headed straight to the clinic after MV. Apart from getting a jab and some medication, I also got this……

Hehehe…. when the doc asked me if I need a MC, I had the cheek to say YES. Muahahahahaha… so by right today I should get a day off from my ‘job’ hor…

Sore Eyes

Everytime I travel from one place to another, my eyes would be the first to suffer. This time is no exceptional. Even a trip from SG to KL – a place I’ve lived my whole life is causing me so much discomfort. Maybe he’s angry I’ve abandoned him for Singapore. Kakakaka…….

That’s my eyes. My right eye is a little swollen and red as compared to my left eye. And I know.. they even look crossed but no la.. I don’t have crossed eyes. Just that I was staring straight to the lens at close range

Update: This morning I woke up with an itchy left eye and a swollen (not just little swollen this time) right eye. Sobss.. partially my fault.. my itchy fingers’ fault for not being able to resist the temptation of rubbing and rubbing the two little ’sick’ eyes. Ooooooo….. tell you, the feeling of rubbing on itchy eyes was so good…. but the after effect was not. Help!

Christmas Party

I bought a stack of Christmas cards over the weekend. Since Loida celebrates Christmas I gave her a few cards so she could pen down a few notes to her parents, her bf (yes, she told me she has a bf of 5 years in Philippines) or maybe friends back home.

Yesterday morning she asked me if she could use the phone to call her friend ((who also works as a helper) in Singapore as she wants to send her a greeting. WTF! Call her friend? Send her friend a card? OK la.. Maybe the friend is her best buddy those days and knowing I’m such a nice employer so how could I say no rite…

In the evening, she told me she made the call(s). Yes.. with an S. She tried calling her friend but no answer. So she called another friend who works in Lucky Plaza. She has the cheek to tell me this Lucky Plaza friend asked her to go for a Christmas Party on the 23rd. I gave her the ‘look’ without uttering a word. She continued that she already told her ‘friend’ she can’t go… cos she’s not allowed to go out during her first 6 months. Ngek ngek ngek… sobby story hor. and you know how does it feels when a sentence has ‘tulang’, ‘bone’ in that manner???; and that if you read between those lines you’ll get the hidden message??

Anyway, she must have been very disappointed as I totally ignored her thereafter and continued to play with Ryan. Kakakaka… I also know how to ‘act’. She was so dem lucky. If she actually asked for permission to go, I’ll ban her from making any calls for the next many months. She’s only been here 2 months. In her 1st month, she asked for a handphone. This month, she ngek about Xmas party. I wonder, what’s next.

I should really get the phone company to itemised the phone calls…. Don’t want her to start calling her ‘friends’ when I’m napping. I don’t want to jump to conclusion or make any accusation that she made any calls behind my back but she’s only been here 2 months. It’s only fair I be more cautious.

Got maid susah, no maid also susah…………

Going back to pre pregnancy clothes

I was watching Fashion Police on the telly earlier. As the name describes, it’s about these two hosts going around bla bla-ing about today’s fashion, who has the fashion sense, who doesn’t, the dos and donts and what not la. One of the highlights of the show is make over.. Muaks.. my favourite part of the show. and today they featured how they could transform an ‘ah soh’ looking mommy into a gorgeous looking hot mama.

So dah-dah-dah.. they went on to give her the so called IT look… changing her hairstyle, color, her closet etc etc… No big deal right. Wait… I’ve not reached the best part yet…

… the best part of today’s show was on how they effortlessly help this mommy (who has been battling with jelly belly issues eversince the birth of her baby) slips into her pre pregnancy jeans as easy as 1-2-3. Wanna know how.. Check this out. Cool heh… the design is not bad too (Just a bit ex la…and they don’t accept paypal leh.. ). By the way.. I don’t get paid for writing this. Just thought of sharing…………..
