Another Early Night

@ 8 months 2 weeks 3 days

Yoohoo.. as I’m typing this Ryan is long asleep. Occassionally he will toss and open his eyes. I’ll then give him a few assurance pats and he’ll be like squinting his eyes trying to get back to sleep (very cute and funny sight seeing this usual hyper little monster’s squinting eyes effort to get back to ZZzz as if knowing it’s late, time to sleep).

Today in Ryan’s history goes…

Slept at 10pm last night
Fed Ryan milk at 6.30am (scared he’s hungry although he didn’t really fussed for milk)
8.45am – Woke up. Daddy brought jalan-jalan.
9.30am – Pom-Pom
10.00am – 7 oz milk
10.30am – Nap
12.00noon – Woke up from nap. Had rice cereal mixed with Heinz Banana & Apple Dessert
2.30pm – 7 oz milk before nap
5.15pm – Woke. Ready to go out for dinner
7.30pm – Came home (ate nearby only) and sponged
8.30pm – Pureed apple as dessert
9.30pm – ZZzz-land

Phew.. wish everyday is like today. Good night sweetie. Muaks muaks.

Challenging Meal Time

Dim Sum @ Chynna was so so only. Still prefer Shang Palace but ambience wise, not bad. Very ‘china’ feel with tanglung et al. Ryan was mesmerised with decor – for a while. After which, he resumed his hyper activeness and refused to be put neither on baby chair nor stroller.

Lately Ryan also developed a habit of kicking his way for freedom when we carry him thus making po-po time (carry time) particularly tough for YehYeh and MaMa especially YehYeh who is always ‘yau sum mo lek’ – can’t carry for long.

I find outdoor meal times a real real challenge. Sigh… I have seen babies who are very contented on their stroller or high chair able to play on their own. With Ryan.. he’s seriously a little monster on a loose.

Note to Ryan: Ryan, it may seems everyone is afraid to look after you for fear they may not be able to keep up with you, however don’t be bothered. You’ll always have mummy and daddy being your faithful supporters, followers, carers, etc etc etc. At times, mummy does get very frustrated and tired caring for you.. but whenever mummy sees your beaming smile, mummy comes alive again. You’ll always be mummy’s one and only cutie baby… (oh.. Mr Lim is Big Baby..so different lor). Heehee..

Ryan had an early night on the New Year’s eve. He slept at around 9.30pm and only tossed for milk at 6.30am (that also I initiated milk time assuming he must be hungry after so many hours) before he went back to ZZzz-land until about 8.30am. Unlike usual days, I did not bring Ryan for his morning stroll, instead MaMa did. Hehehe.. so I used the extra time to catch a few more minutes pf Zzzz… (lazy mummy).

After Ryan’s morning nap, we were all ready to go for our first breakfast in 2007. Since we have not been to Chynna @ KL Hilton, we decided to give their dim sum a try today together with YehYeh and MaMa. So, all ready we zoom-zoomed our way there.

Ryan, as usual, getting all excited to go ‘Kai-Kai’ had willingly take on his water bottle and gobbled down about 100ml of water during the ride. So unlike him. Must be thirsty huh… Heehee…
