Happy and Sad~~
Happy – happy. I had a great evening last night din-din with some of my gal frens (Carina, Janice, Fennie – the mummy to Elisha and Brian) at RakuZen Chulan Square. Gosh.. it’s been about 6 months since I met up with them. Hehehe.. the last time I met them was during Ryan’s full moon party and my baby is now 7 months, 1 week 6 days as of todate. Yoohoo…~~
After spending a couple of hours with my bunch of good frens, happy happy jolly jolly I drove home. When I reached home Ryan was still awake (no surprise, still early leh 11pm only). Cutie gave me big smile and I gave him a good hug. Suddenly, I saw a small bruise on his forehead (%$^%#) What happened?? Hubs said bruise is there when MIL picked Ryan back from nanny’s. I felt really sorry for lil Ryan. So this morning I was very determined to find out the ‘hantu’ ie the reason la… So I drove Ryan to nanny’s place quite early this morning, ready to spend some time to ‘talk’ about it. Hahaha.. when I reached there, needless for me to diplomatically raise the topic, nanny apologized and explained Ryan fell flat while attempting to stand on his two tiny little feet, one hand holding the bar for support while the other holding a toy! Hero!
Check out my poor lil baby during the trip to nanny’s this morning…

Pureed Project
I have been procrastinating the fact that I should start make more varieties of pureed food/fruits for Ryan and this has been haunting me for a while. For the past many many weeks, it’s always been the same old recipe again and again and again. Why?? Excuse: I don’t have a dedicated blender for Ryan leh… yeah…lame excuse I know. Heehee..
This is Ryan’s usual routine on a typical weekend:
- Wake up, will gulp in at least 7 oz of milk
- ‘Pom-Pom” and get ready to go ‘Kai-Kai’
- Milk all the way until late afternoon, Ryan will have either steamed porridge (yes, no joke… use steamer for Ryan’s porridge) with carrot or rice cereal with Heinz Apple Fruity / mashed banana
- Milk in the evening
- Fruits – avocado with mango / mashed banana
- Milk before sleep
But but….guess what I found over the weekend at 1U. Saw it at ‘IS’ Kitchen, next to HomeFix. Mixer, Juicer, Blender, Grinder all in one. Wow.. how to resist this multipurpose gadget leh. Check it out below:
Functions:
8 secs Pasta Sauce
8 secs Desserts
8 secs Party Dips
9 secs Chicken Salad
7 secs Cocktails
Investment: RM268.00 ~~heeeheee….
So, my resolution for the weekend to come: Pureed Pureed Food Mission, here I come. (wink~wink~)
Check out my cheery lil Ryan below. Pics taken last night during the awful teething spells. Well, not bad.. can still laugh until ’see the teeth cant see the eyes’. Love you Ryan cutie.

Ouch!! Ouch!!
Check this out. Mr Lim got scratched by lil monster last night. Ouch! Ouch! Poor babe.
Well,, that is certainly a sure sign that it’s time for nail trimming again. Not that I have been neglecting that bit of mummy’s responsibility but hello??? I just trimmed his nails last Wednesday leh..
It’s a pretty emotional day for me. Met up with a 2 potential buyers today.. Potential buyers? Yeah. I’m selling my car. My beloved City. Since Ryan’s arrival, the current car is evitably a bit cramp to fit all for weekend outing. So.. City has to make way for new mpv..
Note to Ryan: Oh, Ryan cutie.. one day when you’re reading this, do apologise to Daddy ya..

Amateur Blogger
Well, for some reason I become sooooo enthusiastic today that I decided I should start blogging and start bla bla-ing about etc etc etc.
I’m still pretty ameteur in all these but I believe in practise makes perfect, I’m gonna be a pro soon leh..
Let’s share abit about my beloved cutey son Ryan Lim Yuen Jou who is 7 months 1 week 1 day today. Aiseh.. I know I know, a bit late to start blogging about Ryan when he’s already 7 months. But what to do.. this mummy as blur and as procrastinating as usual.
Ryan slept early last night at 10pm. That’s not exactly early for a baby his age but considering his usual bed time is 12am, last night was a bonus hour for Mr Lim (ooh.. my hubs la) and me.
Time flies, I thought I heard ‘ee ee eh eh’ from Ryan and took a peek at lil monster. Sure enough woke up already – but still lying still on bed, not moving an inch, don’t know why so quiet.. then suddenly he smiled (quietly oso) and blink blink turned and saw this mummy staring at him. Alamak.. 5.30am!!! Ryan rolled to his side and sat up. This time no more quiet moment leh.. His then ‘ee ee eh eh’ is now ‘EE EE EE EE EH EH EH EH’ at a much louder volume. Sigh.. have to wake up, made milk and played with this lil monster.
Aah.. mummy so tired and sleepy, not yet crack of sunlight yet….really miss those days I can sleep till ’sunlight shined over my head’ – direct translation from chinese.. heehee…
Cont to pat pat pat, phew..!! Ryan went back to dreamland at 6.30am. Not too bad la.. one hour of ’streszzz’ only. Wink Wink……
